Cam X Award of Excellence

Alert Communications is proud to have received the Cam X Award for Excellence in our first year of trying out and look forward to continuous achievement of this award in the coming years.

Founded in 1964, CAM-X is an industry trade Association representing Call Centres and Telephone Answering Service companies from coast to coast across North America who work together to share ideas, develop new technologies and network with their peers in order to continue the growth of their businesses as well as that of the industry. CAM-X members are leaders in the field offering the most progressive of solutions available in today's call centre environment.

What are Awards of Excellence?

Both awards recognize the achievement of going above and beyond to deliver a level of service that considers the caller first in every aspect of the call. This award is earned through judging the handling of calls placed by a mystery caller and judged against specific criteria.

ATSI Gold 24/7 Call Center Certification  

In July 2007, Alert Communications received the Association of Teleservices International (ATSI) Gold 24/7 Call Center Certification.  

The certification program sets forth nearly sixty [60] criteria that need to be met or exceeded . They represent a collection of the best practices and guidelines that telephone answering service sites adhere to. Upon receiving Certification status, Alert Communications has demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Certification Committee (which include on site inspections) a high level of proficiency in recovery techniques, good business practices, documentation of procedures, and levels of redundancy necessary for 24 / 7 preparedness.
