All work and no play makes a dull team. To provide our clients with the highest quality service, we need the highest quality employees who are willing to go above and beyond. We do little things throughout the year to let them know how much we appreciate them, but like to hold a weeklong event every year too.
We recently held our annual Employee Appreciation Week here at Alert Communications to recognize the hard work and dedication to quality service that our employees give every day of the year. This year’s events were a lot of fun.
Monday kicked things off with tasty omelets for breakfast from the Mr. Omelet catering company. Later that day we treated our staff to roasted turkey wraps for lunch.
Tuesday was taco day thanks to a local taco man who served the staff from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Of course, we couldn’t end the day without a sweet treat from Nothing Bundt Cakes, which provided mini Bundt cakes (“Bundtinies”) to the staff.
Wednesday was cocktail time! Fruit cocktail, that is! A local fruit truck gave our staff a healthy, mid-week energy boost with its delicious fruit cocktails.
Thursday included a delicious spread of fresh bagels and toppings, as well as a professional barista who mixed gourmet coffee drinks for the staff in the morning and afternoon. Nobody had to make a coffee run that day!
Friday we wrapped up the week by pulling out all the stops to make it truly a Fun Friday. We pulled out the BBQ grills and invited our staff to bring their family out for an all-day BBQ picnic outside our building. We spent the entire day enjoying delicious food and great company as we welcomed the weekend and reminded our staff how much they mean to us.
We believe that happy employees mean efficient, productive employees. By doing little things all year and holding our annual appreciation week, we do whatever we can to make Alert Communications a great place to work.
